(Re)design Flatpack Stool

The (Re)designAwards 09 Award - Flatpack Stool design/build collaboration with Kristian Kluver. All fabrication and production performed by Kluver. Laser-engraving by Kurt Barbee of Laser Tag Cartel. The AIGA provided us with only one requirement, "the award must fit in a USPS large flat rate box, 12" x 12" x 5.5". Requirement met. All materials utilized were reclaimed. NOTE: When provided the opportunity to design this award we immediately determined a need for function over useless decoration. We sought to design and build an award in line with the tone and goals of the contest it would eventually come to symbolize. We'd like to think we did just that.
